This project involved the design of a new 2240 SF custom home and lap pool on a 22 acre site with rolling hills and a steep, wooded ravine. The house is located on a hilltop permitting expansive views of the Russian River Valley.  The central great room opens on to the pool and covered patio with panaramic mountain views to the south, while bedrooms on the east and west ends of the house face more intimate, wooded views. Sustainable design was a high priority and every attempt was made to use the most energy efficient systems and materials. This project participated in the USGBC LEED for Homes program and has been certified at the Platinum level. This project was completed in 2009.
